The best places to go on a first date.

“Brandy Library is fun. I've been there a few times now. It was definitely quiet and romantic. They had brandy, mixed drinks, and wine on deck. But def $$$$
Weather Up is marble and cute. It's more classy casual imo. It doesn't get too dark, and you can grab a table in the back to chat. The music is good always. I would suggest this for a place to start.
Ward III is another casual classy bar. It's dark and can get a bit loud after 7pm. It's a post-work spot for me. Again a good second tier bar or right at 6pm bar.
Zinc Bar is great. I've taken dates there and been dumped there and I still love it. It's a small bar because it's half venue. The drinks are strong and good. There's an alcove in the front of the bar that's v romantic.
Please Don't Tell if she's into gimmicks. It's the Go-to "speak easy" in NYC. It's "hidden" within Crif dogs downtown. It can be annoying to get a seat in but it's easier than Death and Co. (They're dicks. But people LOVE this spot) .
I went on a date here, surprisingly they let us in without a reservation. It was early around 7pm, and my date was charmy. Spent 70 dollars on 4 drinks and hot dogs.
I would suggest Lovers of Today then PDT. I've done two drinks at Lovers and then moved over to PDT.
Lovers of Today is crazy intimate, because it can fit like 16 people in it. It's the epitome of a date bar. Crazy dark and (just ok imo) cocktails. After 9pm on Fridays can get pretty loud. There’s a fun date nook on the left side of the bar to escape the loud music/crowd It's fun to get into because people are confused by the entrance at first.
Other suggestions: Pulqueria, if she's liked Apotheke. She'll like Pulqueria.
GENUINE Liquorette. I've been on a date here as well. I like it a lot and it's kind of cute and cichey with the weigh your liquor theme. Was a great conversation starter.”
